Our on-staff Diesel Technicians advise clients on different aspects of engine overhauls, in addition to what to look for when buying a used truck.  At CAG Truck Capital, we thoroughly go through the overhaul estimate to make sure the certified facility doesn’t miss any detail that may jeopardize the integrity of the overhaul and/or the manufacturer warranty.  We work with our clients and service facility through the entire process.

We understand the used truck market and guide our clients on which trucks are the best decision for their use.  More importantly, we consider the history of reliability for the particular truck being considered for purchase.  We perform a history check via Carfax using the VIN and an ownership search, in conjunction with a verification of any major work the dealer or seller claim the truck has undergone, such as: overhauls, transmission, and emission work.

We design the loan around the life expectancy of the truck and its engine, as this is a critical to every owner/operator client.  Wrong down payment amounts and/or inappropriate loan terms can have catastrophic consequences.  Likewise, the proper terms provide our clients with protective options.  Throughout the term, should the engine fail and require an overhaul the loan can be refinanced to include the overhaul, extend the term, and in most cases keep roughly the same payment amount.  The client would have a fresh manufacturer’s nationwide warranty that will provide years of trouble-free driving and peace of mind.
